You've checked in, now what? Winter in Big Sky

So you’ve finally made it. After all the planning, decisions, and travel you've hung your coat in the foyer and the family has splayed out across the living room. You can feel the question hanging in the room before anyone says it, and it's the last piece of the puzzle for the snowy getaway you've been waiting to get into for so long.

“Whats the plan?"

Of course we made sure you have a toasty space to unwind and have coffee, watch a movie with your kids bundled up in your lap, or laud the victory of another year with champagne flutes and close friends. The string lights on the sauna are glowing in the back window, there are sets of cards for a heated game of rummy in Eileen's Canteen, but you didn't come to the grand and snow blanketed wonderland of Montana to pinch and zoom a map on your phone anymore. You came for the sensation of dropping your skis down into plush powder before clipping in for the first run down the nearly infinite expanse of Big Sky Resorts thousands of acres of skiable mountain. If you want to get western, the fine folks at Lone Mountain Ranch will load you and your loved ones into a horse-driven sleigh to take you to a candlelit and luxurious dinner at a cabin between the pines. Striking a balance between meditation and a cold plunge, our friends at Gallatin River Guides will happily guide you down the Gallatin to fly fish regardless of whether or not the flip-flops and sunscreen have long since gone into storage bins.

The great state of Montana has a vast wealth of options for activities, and much like taking a peek down a blue run after your first ski lesson it can be a little overwhelming. Thankfully, you have our local and experienced Aspects staff at the ready to help you squeeze the most out of your stay.

Not only does every night of the week have something going on at one of the lovely businesses and restaurants in town center, but the mountain village bustles with apres opportunities from sunrise to sunset. A short drive will put you in the heart of Yellowstone National Park, which is a place so wondrous and magical year-round that it could very well change the way you think. An even shorter drive will bring you to Rainbow Lodge only ten minutes down the road from Aspects which does american traditional style steak and seafood dinners in a way that will leave you wondering how you've even eaten other food. At the very least all of these things will impress upon you memories that will last the rest of your life. At the end of the day if none of these things strikes your fancy we’re always a call away, always local, and always more than happy to help you reconnect with your friends, family, and maybe even yourself.

In addition, if you’re a checklist kind of person, we've included a little selection for you to blaze through during your stay. We hope to see you here with us in the coming seasons so that we can help you and your loved ones make new, high-elevation memories to last a lifetime.
